We are seeking a friendly, professional Host to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, with strong communication skills and a passion for guest relations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
• Seat guests promptly and communicate wait times effectively
• Take reservations and manage seating arrangements using POS systems
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area
• Assist with guest requests and coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
• Support bar staff during busy periods, including taking orders and assisting with guest needs when necessary
• Uphold hospitality standards and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
