As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements efficiently. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests with precision and efficiency
• Coordinate table assignments to optimize seating flow and minimize wait times using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservation details
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health guidelines in the host station
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest relations and enhance overall dining experience

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred
• Strong background in food service, guest services, or hospitality roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and POS systems such as Shift 4 POS is advantageous
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
• Basic math skills for managing waitlists, reservations, and billing procedures
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, along with professional phone etiquette
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations to support a safe dining environment
