Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservation systems and coordinate seating to optimize table turnover and guest experience
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, handling reservation inquiries and guest questions efficiently
• Maintain accurate restaurant table management using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Assist guests with seating arrangements, wait times, and special requests to enhance their dining experience
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow
• Uphold food safety standards and cleanliness protocols in all guest interactions and work areas
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Experience with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and reservations efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
• Ability to handle phone communication confidently, demonstrating proper phone etiquette
• Food service experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
