Hiro 88 is a modern Asian restaurant, known for our upscale casual atmosphere and exceptional service. We’re seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Host or Hostess to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, guest-focused environment and takes pride in creating a great first impression.

Job Summary

As a Host/Hostess, you’ll be the face of Hiro 88. From greeting guests with a smile to managing reservations and assisting with to-go orders, your role is key to maintaining the quality and flow of our guest experience.

Responsibilities

· Greet and seat guests promptly with a welcoming attitude

· Answer phone calls and book reservations accurately

· Take and enter to-go orders using our tablet-based POS system

· Maintain awareness of table availability and wait times

· Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth seating rotation

· Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently

· Keep up-to-date knowledge of the menu and restaurant offerings

· Provide accurate directions and assist guests as needed

Requirements

· Must be at least 16 years old

· Minimum of 3 shifts per week, including:

o One Friday or Saturday weekly

o Sunday every week

o One additional weekday shift

· Excellent communication and multitasking skills

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

· Prior experience in hospitality or restaurants is a plus

· Must be available to work some public holidays
