Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Host to join our vibrant hospitality team Friday and Saturday! As the welcoming face of our establishment, you will create an inviting atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks with ease will ensure every guest feels valued and cared for. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the guest experience, helping to set the tone for memorable visits and outstanding service. Starting hourly pay is $15.00/hour + 1% of total net sales tipped out to you from servers and bar staff.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression of the venue
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using reservation systems such as OpenTable.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of guest seating and service
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assistance
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to enhance guest comfort
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences to foster guest satisfaction
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant settings preferred
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, friendly phone etiquette and guest interactions
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
• Basic understanding of restaurant operations and food service procedures is beneficial
