Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at the front of house, managing guest flow, and providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and hospitality expertise will help set the tone for an outstanding dining or service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor to make them feel welcomed and valued
• Manage reservations, walk-in seating, and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests throughout their visit
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate information about services and wait times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, ensuring a professional appearance at all times
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction
• Support team members during busy periods by helping with guest services or light hospitality duties as needed

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host or Host in food service or restaurant environments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and guest check-ins
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services, and restaurant operations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a friendly attitude
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
