Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and answering any initial questions about the menu offerings.
• Manage reservations, waitlists and seating arrangements to ensure an efficient dining experience.
• Answer phone calls, assist with reservations, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system, ensuring all orders are entered correctly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery of orders.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently while adhering to restaurant policies.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanor at all times.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
• Knowledge of food preparation standards and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but can be learned on the job.
