Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Address guest concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Assist in training new host/host staff as needed.

Skills

• Previous Host/Host or food service experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is a plus.
