Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage reservations, greet guests with warmth, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations. Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with enthusiasm and professionalism, setting a positive tone for their visit
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Toast POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations as needed
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns in a friendly manner
• Support food safety practices by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to health standards in the host area

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred, with strong customer service skills
• Experience with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for managing reservations and guest counts accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively
• Previous food service experience is a plus, along with familiarity in using POS systems like Micros or Aloha
