Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring efficient seating arrangements. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage the seating chart and ensure that tables are filled in an efficient manner.
• Handle reservations and walk-in guests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand.
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing waitlists and reservations.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations throughout the dining experience.

Experience

• Previous Host/Host experience is preferred but not required.
• Background in food service or restaurant environments is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with Toast and Toast Tables systems is a plus.
• Experience in hotel or guest services can enhance your candidacy.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
