Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring they feel valued from arrival to departure
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining excellent guest service standards
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and clear communication skills
• Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, wait times, and special requests to enhance their dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
• Support food safety protocols by adhering to health standards and assisting in maintaining a hygienic workspace

Skills

• Proven experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting, with strong guest service skills
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly phone manner
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow seamlessly
• Basic math skills for handling reservations and managing waitlists accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Pay: From $15.92 per hour
