As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a warm, friendly atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude, making them feel instantly welcomed
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth flow of guests and optimal table turnover
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and seating adjustments to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns courteously and professionally, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities
• Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services and restaurant operations
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Prior experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous but not mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
