Overview

We are a contemporary and welcoming sushi restaurant looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Host/Hostess to join our team. Our host is the first and last impression our guests have, so we're looking for someone who enjoys creating a warm, welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a friendly and professional attitude
• Welcome guests and manage the seating process
• Answer phones and assist guests with reservations and general questions
• Maintain accurate waitlists and communicate estimated wait times
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Monitor table availability and coordinate seating with servers and management
• Communicate guest needs and special requests to the restaurant team
• Help maintain a clean and organized entrance, lobby, and dining area
• Assist servers and other team members when needed
• Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service throughout every guest interaction
• Executes side works
• Fosters teamwork

Requirements

• Previous host, hostess, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Ability to stay organized in a busy restaurant environment
• Comfortable answering phones and interacting with guests
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
