Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth flow of guest services. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times
• Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and handle guest requests
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand area and waiting zones

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred, with strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Experience in food service or hospitality industry is a plus, including knowledge of restaurant operations and guest services
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow effectively
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant hygiene practices is beneficial
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
