Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Handle phone calls professionally, taking reservations or answering questions as needed.
• Provide assistance to guests throughout their dining experience, ensuring satisfaction.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Excellent phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally.
• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
• Knowledge of food service practices and menu offerings is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy dining environment.
