Summary

Thank you for taking the time to apply for the Host position at our company! We are seeking both part-time and full-time Hosts with a growth mindset who are looking to start, or expand, their careers in the restaurant industry! Hosts are the first people that guests see when they enter our restaurant and are thus responsible for ensuring that our guests feel welcome and are seated as quickly as possible.

Duties

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Manage the waitlist and wait time.
• Seat guests and manage the seating chart.
• Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
• Answer phone calls and redirect inquiries.
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, packaging to go orders, etc.
• Help fellow team members and other departments wherever needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to be vigilant and attentive to the needs of customers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• 18+ years of age
