Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using our table management systems such as Toast.
• Maintain an organized waitlist, accurately tracking guest wait times and seating arrangements.
• Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservation inquiries and guest questions.
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest flow, optimizing restaurant capacity.
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols during guest interactions.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred; food service experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear phone communication and friendly interpersonal interactions.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Toast is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and POS transactions.
• Knowledge of hospitality principles, guest services, and restaurant operations to enhance guest relations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods; physical stamina is important.
