Pay: $15 per hour

Odesa by Chef Sergey is looking for a friendly, attentive, and organized Host to join our opening team. We specialize in Ukrainian and European cuisine, with a menu prepared from scratch and a focus on warm, thoughtful hospitality.

As the first person our guests meet, you will help set the tone for their entire visit. We’re looking for someone who enjoys welcoming people, communicates with confidence and kindness, and makes every guest feel comfortable and valued.

What you’ll do:

• Greet guests warmly when they arrive and thank them when they leave.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, and the waitlist.
• Seat guests thoughtfully, coordinating with servers to keep service running smoothly.
• Communicate wait times clearly and politely.
• Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about the restaurant.
• Keep the entrance, host stand, and menus clean and organized.
• Communicate special requests and seating needs to the team.
• Help reset tables and support the dining room team when needed.

What we’re looking for:

• A friendly, welcoming manner and a neat, professional appearance.
• Clear, courteous communication in person and over the phone.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• The ability to stay calm and welcoming during busy periods.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Previous hosting, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is a plus.
