Your Role: As a Host, you bring the energy that kicks off the entire guest experience. You welcome guests with enthusiasm, help guide the pace of the dining room, and support your team in creating an atmosphere that feels lively, organized, and effortless. You make every arrival feel personal and every guest feel like part of the HG community.

Responsibilities:

· Welcome every guest with warmth and confidence, as if they were a guest in your own home, always keeping in mind our mission of creating The Warm Familiar experience.

· Ask questions to discover any special accommodations or celebrations.

· Maintain a working knowledge of our menu, space, and neighborhood to answer guest questions confidently.

· Manage phone calls, reservations, and to-go orders with professionalism and accuracy.

· Use Resy to organize reservations and map out tables before each shift.

· Understand the natural cycle of service to quote accurate wait times and keep the floor running smoothly.

· Communicate clearly with servers and managers to ensure guests are seated promptly and cared for quickly.

· Stay current on seasonal menu changes and daily specials.

· Be mindful of allergens and know how to accommodate guests with dietary needs.

· Complete all to-go and delivery orders (including online platforms like Uber Eats or DoorDash) with care and attention to detail.

· Represent the HG Sply Co brand with professionalism and personality

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 18 years old

· Food Handler's license required

Job Requirements:

· Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, often the majority of a shift.

· Frequently required to lift and carry up to 25–30 lbs (e.g., cases of product, small equipment).

· Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs with assistance.

· Comfortable bending, reaching, and working in fast-paced, high-energy environments.

· Ability to move quickly and safely through crowded spaces and in close proximity to hot surfaces, sharp objects, and cleaning chemicals.

· Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in varying temperatures.

· Maintain visual and auditory awareness to ensure safety, quality, and service standards are met at all times.

· Occasionally required to lift up to 150 lbs with the help of equipment like a dolly.

· Occasionally required to speak in front of large groups, including team members and guests.

· May be required to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays, and adjust to occasional schedule changes based on business needs.

Hourly + Tip Share: $10.00 - $18.00 per hour
