HostPosition Summary

As a Host, you will often be the first person our guests meet when they enter the restaurant. You are responsible for creating a friendly and welcoming first impression, understanding each guest’s needs, and helping the dining room operate smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet every guest politely and professionally upon arrival
• Quickly identify whether the guest is dining in, picking up a takeout order, or requesting assistance
• Communicate clearly with guests and respond promptly to their needs
• Escort dine-in guests to the appropriate table
• Help create a comfortable, welcoming, and organized dining environment
• Prepare and reset tables according to the number of guests
• Review reservations and arrange reserved seating in advance
• Manage the seating plan and guest waiting list during busy periods
• Coordinate table availability to maintain an efficient flow of guests
• Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables after guests finish dining
• Prepare tables promptly for the next group of guests
• Communicate with servers, food runners, and management regarding seating needs, reservations, and guest concerns
• Keep the host stand, entrance, waiting area, and surrounding work areas clean and organized
