Who We Are:

Sushi | Bar Nashville is an upscale dining experience coming to The Gulch. The concept revolves around an Sushi Chef's Omakase counter where Sushi is prepared in front of the guests and served by the Chefs themselves. This intimiate experience of no more than 12 guests at a time , five times per evening requires exceptional attention to detail and polished guest interaction.

What We Are Seeking:

An experienced Host who is welcoming, warm, friendly, hospitable, gracious, and professional

A person with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and good time-management multitasking skills that provides an excellent guest experience

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

Enthusiastically acknowledging and welcoming guests upon their arrival

Exhibiting an excellent customer service attitude by creating personable and memorable experiences for our guests

Being flexible to the changing needs of our guests

Demonstrating an ability to establish professional relationships genuinely and sincerely with guests

Effectively assigning seating arrangements according to guidelines set forth by the management team

Engaging and seating guests in a timely manner

Answering all phone calls, questions, inquiries guests may have

Booking and managing reservations

Assisting management in organizing a smooth and effortless service flow

Being considerate and willing to assist fellow team members

Assisting with maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and organization of the entire restaurant

Being knowledgeable of the restaurant’s background story

The Ideal Candidate:

Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual

Driven to provide exceptional service and hospitality

Experienced with reservation platforms

Dependable and detail-oriented

Exudes confidence while performing duties

Dependable and flexible schedule (able to work week days/nights, weekends, and holidays)

Ability to work under pressure

Qualifications:

Experience as a Host

Computer literacy

Excellent communication skills

Dependable and detail-oriented

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 10lbs

Must be able to comfortably ascend/descend stairs with ease

Must be able to stand for long periods of time
