We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth seating arrangements. Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using OpenTable
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand, ensuring all guest areas are welcoming and inviting
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate seating and guest needs
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and reservations assistance
• Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods to reduce wait times and enhance guest satisfaction

Experience

• Prior experience as a Host or Hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast & OpenTable is advantageous
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in guest relations
• Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures enhances effectiveness in this role
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude
