Host

Overview

As a Host, you’ll help create a welcoming restaurant experience from the moment guests arrive. You’ll manage reservations, coordinate table assignments, answer calls with care, and keep the front-of-house team informed. Your impact: Thoughtful seating and clear communication help guests feel welcomed and service teams stay coordinated.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage reservations, maintain waitlists, and provide accurate wait-time updates
• Coordinate table management to support smooth seating and service flow
• Answer calls using professional phone etiquette; respond to guest questions and direct requests
• Use restaurant table management systems and point-of-sale (POS) systems to support daily operations
• Keep the host area organized and follow applicable food safety practices

Experience

• Host or hostess, guest services, customer service, or other restaurant or food service experience is helpful
• Strong communication, guest relations, hospitality, and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for handling seating counts and wait times
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management, table management systems, and POS; Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is a plus
• Understanding of food safety practices is preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
