Job Summary

As a Host, you’ll create a welcoming first impression and help guests enjoy a smooth dining experience from arrival to departure. You’ll manage reservations, answer calls with care, and coordinate table flow with the service team. Your clear communication and organized approach will help keep the dining room running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage waitlists and reservations, and share accurate wait-time updates
• Coordinate seating and table availability using restaurant table management systems
• Answer guest calls, take reservation details, and use professional phone etiquette
• Communicate guest needs and seating updates to servers and other team members
• Keep the host area organized and follow applicable food safety practices
• Your impact: Thoughtful seating coordination helps guests feel welcomed and supports an efficient service flow for the dining team.

Qualifications

• Customer service, guest services, guest relations, and communication skills
• Host/hostess, restaurant, or food service experience preferred
• Organizational skills, basic math, and confidence managing reservations and tables
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems; Aloha POS or Micros POS experience is a plus
• Hospitality knowledge, phone communication skills, and awareness of food safety practices

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
