Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Host / Expo / Server to join our fine dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for excellent guest service and a strong understanding of the food industry. In this position, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by providing attentive service, showcasing menu items, a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring food goes out smoothly. This position is rotating role depending on different daily situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, including daily specials.
• Take accurate orders using SKYTAB POS or other restaurant management systems, ensuring clarity in communication.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of food safety.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively.
• Daily, deep and shift cleaning.

Experience

• Previous experience in a pub or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Excellent guest relations skills to foster a positive dining atmosphere and build rapport with patrons.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is essential.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and handling transactions accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
