Job Summary

Hard Rock Cafe is seeking a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused Host / Hostess to join the restaurant team. The ideal candidate will welcome guests, manage seating and reservations, assist with guest requests, and help create an organized and enjoyable dining experience from arrival through departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service
• Greet guests as they arrive and create a positive first impression
• Manage guest seating and maintain an organized dining room flow
• Assist with reservations, waitlists, and table assignments
• Provide accurate information about menu items, restaurant services, and dining options
• Communicate estimated wait times clearly and professionally
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus when appropriate
• Coordinate with servers, managers, and other restaurant team members
• Monitor dining room availability and help maintain efficient seating
• Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns in a polite manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area
• Assist with phone calls and general guest inquiries when required
• Support front-of-house team members during busy service periods
• Assist with opening, closing, and other daily restaurant duties
• Follow restaurant, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Perform additional duties assigned by restaurant management

Requirements

• Previous host, hostess, restaurant, hospitality, or guest-service experience is preferred but not required
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Ability to manage multiple guest requests while maintaining a positive attitude
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic computer, reservation, or POS experience is a plus
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
