We are seeking an energetic and welcoming HOST / HOSTESS to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such OPENTABLE
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring smooth seating arrangements and timely service flow
• Answer phone inquiries with clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations while maintaining proper phone etiquette
• Maintain organized waitlists and coordinate with the team to optimize seating capacity and guest flow
• Assist with guest services by addressing special requests or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness of the host station and adherence to hygiene protocols
• Manage multiple 3rd party platforms. Enter delivery and to-go orders to P.O.S.

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
• Strong background in customer service, guest relations, and hospitality principles
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as OPENTABLE
• Experience with food service operations, including POS systems and guest interaction techniques
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone etiquette
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage waitlists, reservations, and guest flow effectively
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations is a plus
