Host / Hostess

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, fun and positive host/retail associate to join our taproom team for a part-time summer seasonal position. Our goal is to create a fun, relaxed space where people can get together to enjoy themselves, our wacky atmosphere, and the great beer that our brewers work hard to create and produce!

Duties Include:

• Greeting and seating customers
• Running food to guests and doing quality checks
• Busing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Managing a floor plan, waiting list, and communicating with guests who are waiting
• Placing to-go orders and ringing in retail
• Stocking, sanitizing, maintaining restroom and taproom cleanliness
• Changing kegs, putting away beer flats and kegs from inventory orders
• retail transactions, cash handling, fulfilling uber orders, and upselling merchandise
• All hosts will be paid hourly, and are also tipped out weekly.
• All seasonal hires are eligible to qualify for a bonus having reached the end of their summer contract in good faith with the company.

Qualification Requirements:

• 1+ years of hosting experience is preferred
• A valid Smart serve is required
• Available to work mornings, days, and nights on weekends & holidays is required
• Have a passion for craft beer, be able to demonstrate beer knowledge, and have an enthusiasm for hospitality is required
• Ability to enforce smart serve terms and policies
• Ability to work well within a team
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask, focus and complete tasks in an efficient manner

Pay: $17.60 per hour
