Host / Hostess Needed

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing orders and reservations.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest services throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous host/host or restaurant experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in hotel or hospitality services is beneficial but not mandatory.
