Host / Hostess (Part-Time)

Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House Flushing is looking for a friendly and energetic Host/Hostess to join our team! As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly attitude - Manage the waitlist and seating chart efficiently - Escort guests to tables and present menus - Answer phone calls and take reservations - Assist with takeout orders as needed - Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area - Communicate table availability and wait times with servers and management Requirements: - Fluent in English and Chinese — our guests are roughly 50/50 English- and Chinese-speaking - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - Prior host/restaurant experience preferred but not required

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
