Host-PT

The Woodlands Club is a private, member-owned country club. We thrive for a fine dining experience and are looking for help in our dining room.

Days: 4-8:30 PM, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Overview: The host is the first point of contact for our members coming to our restaurant. Maintaining a friendly demeanor, on the phone and in-person, is crucial for this position. The host will be responsible for maintaining order of seating members, informing server staff, and managing take-out orders.

Job Duties:

• Greeting members and upholding our Principles of Excellence approach to member service.
• Answer multi-line phone system, take orders over the phone, input into the point-of-service machine; direct calls to appropriate line.
• Manage reservations.
• Seat members, provide them with water, and communicate the new seating to the server.
• Input to-go orders, retrieve from the kitchen, and ensure the to-go order’s accuracy.
• Crosstrain in other positions in the dining room; provide assistance to other dining staff, as needed.
• Adhere to all The Woodlands Club policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills.
• Prior country club experience, a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stand, lift, pull, and work overhead.

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20.0 per week
