Responsibilities

• Assist servers and hosts in managing restaurant reservations and guest seating arrangements using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Support host/hostess duties by greeting guests warmly, managing waitlists, and coordinating table assignments efficiently.
• Provide excellent guest services by answering phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations, and addressing guest needs promptly.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times.
• Support the front-of-house team with food delivery, refilling beverages, and clearing tables to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Utilize POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless communication between the kitchen and dining area.
• Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating strong communication skills, guest relations, and teamwork throughout your shift.

Skills

• Previous experience in restaurant reservation management and host/hostess roles preferred.
• Food service experience with a solid understanding of restaurant operations and guest interactions.
• Proficiency in restaurant table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, billing, and order processing accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to support smooth transactions.
• Experience in hospitality or guest relations roles that emphasize positive guest experiences.
