Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Host/Bus to join our dynamic restaurant team! In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a seamless dining experience, managing reservations, guiding guests to their tables, and supporting the serving staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a lively, guest-focused environment. We need positive individuals who enjoy being first guest contact. Must have your own transportation and have minimal limitations on work availability, we are looking at all nights and weekend shifts.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant reservation systems to optimize seating flow
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
• Manage waitlists and communicate wait times effectively
• Support the serving team by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness standards in dining areas
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure a positive experience

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting preferred but not required; food service experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables and reservations efficiently
• Awareness of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction

Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
