Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant reservations to optimize seating flow
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth and friendly check-in process
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables promptly after guests depart
• Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables efficiently to support seamless service
• Manage restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track seating and reservations accurately
• Support food safety standards by handling dishes carefully and adhering to hygiene protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members via phone and in-person to coordinate guest service and resolve any issues quickly

Skills

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or busser in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating calculations, and POS transactions
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests efficiently
• Food safety awareness and adherence to hygiene standards to ensure guest well-being

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
