Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional service to set a positive tone for their visit
• Manage reservations efficiently, coordinating seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest comfort
• Escort guests to their tables, explaining menu specials or answering initial questions as needed
• Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, ensuring timely service and guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas, adhering to health and safety standards
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, including phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries over the phone

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience in a food service or restaurant setting preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse guests
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality or hotel environments can be advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of serving protocols and guest relations enhances your ability to excel in this role
