Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently using restaurant table management systems
• Handle reservation management with precision, confirming bookings and accommodating special requests
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a friendly and professional introduction to the dining experience
• Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, supporting guest needs throughout their visit
• Maintain organized station areas and assist with overall restaurant cleanliness and guest relations
• Answer phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, providing information about reservations and wait times

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or busser in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling guest seating arrangements and bill processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and guest focus
