Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service
  • Warmly greet guests and manage the host stand, reservations, and seating assignments
  • Recognize first-time guests and communicate key details to the server team
  • Offer water service and ensure prompt delivery of papad and dips
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs throughout their visit
• Dining Room Operations
  • Pre-bus, clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and thoroughly
  • Maintain water machine, restock service stations, and keep the dining room guest-ready
  • Assist with running food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks
  • Complete side work and assist with catering orders or events as needed
• Floor Awareness & Table Flow
  • Monitor dining room flow from seating to departure, ensuring smooth transitions
  • Track appetizer, entrée, and dessert progression and support servers as needed
  • Balance hosting and bussing duties to keep service on track and tables turning efficiently
• Administrative & Cross-Training
  • Learn and use OpenTable, Shift4 SkyTab POS, guest ordering kiosk, and phone order systems
  • Occasionally answer phones and assist with kiosk orders
  • Opportunities to cross-train as an Expo Specialist and pick up additional shifts

Requirements

• Previous restaurant hosting and bussing experience required
• Experience taking restaurant orders
• Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
• Confidence managing reservations and table turnover in a fast-paced restaurant
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance
• Reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of shifts and safely lift at least 30 pounds
• Responsible alcohol service awareness; some alcohol knowledge preferred
• Ability to wear and maintain the required uniform:
  • Long-sleeve black button-up shirt (no pockets)
  • Black dress pants, black belt, shirt tucked in
  • Completely black slip-resistant shoes

Schedule

• Wednesday through Sunday evenings, starting at 5:00 PM
• Wednesday–Thursday closing: 10:00 PM; Friday–Saturday closing: 10:30 PM; Sunday closing: 9:30 PM
• Shifts may end earlier depending on business volume
• Availability for exact days and hours is required before hiring
• All anticipated dates needed off within the next 90 days must be disclosed before hiring
