Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Part-Time Host/Busser to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. We are looking for flexible, mature people to join our team! our hours start at 3:30 pm and weekends/holidays are mandatory as needed. (please do not apply if you are in high school an cannot be here by 3:30, thank you)

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant reservations.
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring seating arrangements optimize flow and comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables promptly after guests leave.
• Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables efficiently to support seamless service.
• Support the host team in managing waitlists and communicating wait times clearly via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette.
• Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and maintaining a hygienic environment.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional guest services, ensuring all guests feel valued and attended to throughout their visit.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, including clear phone communication and professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments smoothly.
• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential!

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
