Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Host/Busser/Expo, where you'll be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. In this energetic role, you'll manage reservations, coordinate table assignments, and support the flow of service to create a seamless dining experience. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant reservations using our reservation management systems.
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring efficient seating arrangements and proper table management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, resetting tables promptly for new guests.
• Support servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and delivering food when needed as an Expo.
• Assist in communicating guest needs to the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately.
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and excellent communication skills.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating proper phone etiquette while managing reservation requests or guest questions.

Experience

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn.
• Food service experience and familiarity with restaurant table management systems are advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling reservations, billing, and POS transactions confidently.
• Experience with hospitality standards, guest relations, and phone communication enhances your fit for this energetic role.
• Knowledge of food safety practices ensures a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Pay: From $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
