Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage restaurant seating and takeout orders
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring efficient table management and seating arrangements
• Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times or reservations
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) system payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate effectively with the team to optimize seating flow
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food service staff by coordinating guest flow and ensuring timely table turnover while adhering to food safety standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, bill splitting, and POS operations
• Excellent organizational skills to manage waitlists, reservations, and guest flow efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety practices and restaurant operations is a plus
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a friendly demeanor
• Prior experience in hospitality or guest relations roles will be advantageous
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
