Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them through the reservation process.
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow.
• Maintain organized table management, ensuring timely seating and efficient use of space.
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and menu inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
• Handle guest check-in and check-out processes accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Process payments swiftly and accurately at the cashier station, ensuring proper cash handling and transaction recording.
• Support food safety standards by maintaining cleanliness at the host station and adhering to hygiene protocols.
• Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall dining experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless restaurant operations during busy hours.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant setting is preferred; food service experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and payment processing efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for guest services are essential.
