Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage the waiting list, reservations, and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests and ensure their comfort while they wait.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus while informing them of daily specials.
• Handle cash and electronic transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and change given.
• Process takeout and delivery orders, coordinating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and patience.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and order accuracy.
• Uphold company policies regarding COVID-19 safety measures and sanitation standards.
• Assist in basic cleaning tasks to keep the establishment tidy and welcoming.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude, even during busy times.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of [cuisine/type of establishment] is a bonus.
