Host/Cashier

Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the restaurant
• Seat guests and provide them with menus
• Answer phone calls and take reservations
• Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
• Assist with cleaning and setting up tables as needed
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or inquiries
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service

Skills:

• Hospitality: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Phone etiquette: Handle phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Help: Willingness to assist guests and team members as needed
• Guest relations: Build positive relationships with guests to enhance their dining experience
• Restaurant experience: Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
• Customer service: Ability to provide exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
• Aloha POS: Proficiency in using the TOAST POS system for order processing and payment transactions
• Guest services: Ability to anticipate guest needs and exceed their expectations
• Food service: Knowledge of food and beverage offerings to make recommendations to guests
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
