Hostel Front Office Officer

Location: Chinatown / Lavender, Singapore

Salary: $2,300 – $2,500 per month

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour break)

Working Days: 5 days per week (2 off days on weekdays, rostered by Hostel Manager)

Commencement Date: 1 November 2026

Job Responsibilities

Manage daily front desk operations and attend to residents’ enquiries.

Assist with check-in, check-out and registration procedures.

Provide friendly and professional customer service to residents and visitors.

Handle incoming calls, emails and general administrative duties.

Maintain accurate resident records and update relevant information in the system.

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address residents’ requests.

Handle feedback and complaints professionally.

Rotate between Chinatown and Lavender outlets based on operational requirements.

Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Hostel Manager.

Job Requirements

Basic computer literacy and administrative skills.

Prior experience in front office, hospitality or customer service will be advantageous.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Friendly, responsible and service-oriented.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Comfortable working on weekends with off days scheduled on weekdays.

Able to commence work on short notice is preferred.
