HOSTEL MAINTENANCE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as basic repairs, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical troubleshooting
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, equipment, and hostel facilities
• Handle minor repairs immediately and report major issues to management
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of maintenance tools, storage areas, and equipment
• Assist in the upkeep of outdoor areas including pathways, signage, and grounds
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of water systems, lighting, and ventilation
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests
• Support general hostel operations when needed (e.g., moving furniture, replacing fixtures)

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance, repair work, or similar role (hospitality setting is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair
• Able to work independently, troubleshoot problems, and manage time well
• Capable of handling manual tasks
• Willing to stay or relocate to El Nido
• Reliable, responsible, and easy to work with
