Hostel Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Hostel Manager to take full leadership of Abraham Bohol. As the primary leader, you will oversee all property operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, efficient workflow across all departments, and strong financial performance. This is a dynamic, output-driven role requiring a strategic thinker who can manage everything from daily hospitality operations to local government relations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire property, including private rooms, dormitories, F&B operations, and specialized infrastructure. Manage, mentor, and support all department heads and on-site staff.
• Proactively drive guest satisfaction, manage feedback platforms, and curate unique events/activities.
• Work with the Revenue and Finance teams to implement strategies that boost revenue, control operational costs, and optimize profitability.
• Serve as the liaison for local government authorities to ensure all permits and environmental regulations are strictly met. Collaborate seamlessly with sister tour company and on-site diving partners.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management to foster a positive, productive work environment.

About you

• A degree holder in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related management course.
• Proven experience as a Hostel/Hotel/Operations Manager in the hospitality industry.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with cost-control and revenue generation.
• Excellent leadership, crisis management, and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of facility management, safety standards, and local compliance requirements.
• Ability to self-manage, execute independently, and report directly to global executive leadership.
