The Hostel Supervisor is responsible for the efficient functioning of the hostel, overseeing staff, managing guest relations, maintaining facilities, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. They ensure adherence to policies, handle administrative tasks, and promote a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Guest Relations:

Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-ins, and provide necessary information about the hostel s facilities and services. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Staff Management:

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise hostel staff members, including receptionists, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or guidance when necessary.

Operations Management:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments. Manage inventory levels and procurement of supplies for the hostel. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, safety, and security standards in all areas.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest information using hostel management software or systems. Prepare reports on occupancy rates, revenue, and expenses. Handle financial transactions, including cash handling and accounting procedures.

Educational Qualification : Under-graduate / Post-graduate (Engineering / Science)
