Hostel Warden

Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and disciplined Hostel Warden to manage and supervise students residing in the hostel. The role requires maintaining a safe, structured, and academically focused environment that supports students preparing for NEET and JEE.

The warden plays a crucial role in ensuring discipline, well-being, and daily routine adherence of students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Discipline & Routine Management

• Enforce daily schedule (wake-up time, study hours, meals, lights-off).
• Ensure students follow study routines sincerely.
• Maintain strict discipline within the hostel premises.

2. Student Welfare & Safety

• Act as the primary point of contact for student concerns.
• Monitor student health, behaviour, and emotional well-being.
• Ensure safety standards are followed at all times.

3. Attendance & Monitoring

• Maintain daily attendance records (hostel + study hours).
• Track student movements (entry/exit register).
• Report irregularities to management immediately.

4. Coordination with Academic Team

• Communicate with faculty regarding student performance or issues.
• Help identify students who need additional support or monitoring.

5. Parent Communication

• Update parents when necessary regarding student behaviour or health.
• Handle emergency communication responsibly.

6. Hostel Operations Management

• Supervise cleanliness, food quality, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, housekeeping, and security.
• Ensure hostel rules are strictly followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience as a hostel warden / residential supervisor preferred
• Strong discipline and leadership qualities
• Ability to handle teenagers with patience and authority
• Good communication skills (Malayalam + basic English preferred)
• Physically present and available for hostel supervision (residential role)
