De Mould Academy, Enugu, Nigeria is seeking a responsible, disciplined, and caring Hostel Father to join our boarding team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supervising students within the boarding house, maintaining a safe and supportive environment, and promoting discipline, welfare, and positive behaviour among pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students within the hostel environment.
• Maintain order, discipline, and proper conduct in the boarding house.
• Monitor students’ wellbeing, routines, hygiene, and general welfare.
• Ensure the hostel remains safe, secure, and well managed at all times.
• Support students with guidance, mentorship, and pastoral care.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and student concerns.
• Work closely with school management, parents, and other staff members.
• Maintain accurate records of hostel activities and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a hostel, school, residential facility, or similar environment is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and supervise children and young people responsibly.
• Mature, dependable, and organised personality.
• Commitment to student welfare, discipline, and safeguarding.
• Minimum of secondary school education; additional qualifications are an advantage.
