Position Summary

As a Hostes, you are the first and last impression of our restaurant. Your role is to welcome every guest with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality while ensuring smooth seating operations and excellent communication with the service team.

Our Hosts are not simply seat coordinators—they are ambassadors of our hospitality culture.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with genuine enthusiasm and a warm smile.
• Create an exceptional first impression for every guest.
• Manage reservations using the restaurant reservation system.
• Accurately maintain the waitlist and provide realistic wait times.
• Escort guests to their tables while engaging in friendly conversation.
• Present menus and introduce the assigned server.
• Coordinate seating to maintain proper server rotation.
• Communicate effectively with managers and service staff.
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally.
• Assist guests with special requests and accommodations.
• Maintain an organized and clean host stand.
• Monitor lobby flow and waiting guests.
• Thank every guest sincerely upon departure.
• Assist with light administrative and guest service duties when needed.
• Support the team during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred (not required).
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable using reservation software and POS systems.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
